PACT by BBK. GOOD TREATMENT FOR EQUALITY

During 2022 we have designed and deployed PACT by BBK, a social transformation project to activate the youth of Bizkaia in the field of equality, based on good treatment as a “default value”. 

It all stems from an observation: despite all the progress being made in this area, inequality between women and men persists and is perpetuated. And so we ask ourselves: What if we change our “operating system”?

PACT by BBK is a learning and experience programme for young people between the ages of 12 and 17, through which they learn to question their ways of relating and their commitment to equality, based on good treatment and care for each person, the group and the planet.

In January 2023 we launched PACT through a pioneering experience with 10 groups of young people, 7 in Bizkaia and 3 in Frankfurt, who have participated in the programme by sharing and contrasting methodologies, contents and learning around common issues, which they have set down in their respective Pacts for Good Treatment. 

Violence against women is not inevitable and PACT by BBK offers tools for the construction of life itineraries that allow young people to learn to be independent people, free from gender conditioning factors, so that they can make equality and self-care -mutual and with the planet- their signs of identity.
